Continuing with some more Fluorite inclusions this week.
Several 2 and 3 phase inclusions can be seen in the first photo. One surface reaching break has resulted in unidentified external green matter to penetrate the fissure that has eventually dried out. The foreign matter has penetrated almost halfway into the fissure as the other part remains intact and clean. The alien matter can be seen in other photos as well and after drying out it has created dendritic patterns in some areas. Yet again, numerous classic examples of ‘Epigenetic Fluid Inclusions’.
Epigenetic Fluid Inclusions: Inclusions that are formed after the growth process of the host gem has completely ended. These inclusions form when external impurities or liquids penetrate into the open fractures and fissures and then dry out or crystalize inside.
